Just wanted to give a quick update on Crowd Control. There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. This week we shipped off all of our drives to a new facility in Silicone Valley. It has been a tough process to find a good place, and to get the 32 TB of data (47,000 x4 video files) reorganized. My partner Kristian has worked his butt off to make it happen.

It will take a few days to get there, a few to install, and then a few more to set up and test the site.

What I will say is that I have tested downloads from the facility, and they are significantly faster than what we had previously. In the States I saw an increase of 25-50 times faster – keeping in mind that I was testing basic downloads from their servers, not from our site, but it is encouraging.

Anyway- I don’t want to jinx it… Will keep you posted.
